I did TF on M3608734183, and I can't seem to find a place to submit my results. Primenet doesn't support exponents that big, and I can't find the submit page on mersenne.ca. Anyone know how to report...

Update on that: It had 2^2*3 from i334 to i453, then it lost the 3 and mutated to a downdriver (2*2*3 at i453 -> 2^2*p at i454 -> 2^3*p at i455 -> 2 at i456).

Is this a record or not?

I've never seen 2^2*3 last this long:

Sequence 46*10^28 (http://www.factordb.com/sequences.php?se=1&aq=46*10^28&action=range&fr=334&to=500)

It's usually <20 consecutive terms long, at least on...

What about general numbers of the form k*b^n+/-1? Proth20 only does numbers of the form k*2^n+1, k < 10^8-1). I want to try and find Top 5000 primes with other bases (i.e. b=6, 10, 62, 94, and any...

Because the time complexity for pi calculation is much better/faster than that of primality/PRP tests. Also F33 has 2,585,827,973 digits, not 2.7 trillion (which is more like F43).

That can be rewritten as:

126831252923413*4657#/273+1+n, n=0,2,6,8,12

I figured out (using FactorDB) that the long number in the expression is simply 220*4657#/273+1.
