Careful with that p word there. We actually blundered into axn's range a little recklessly. It was gracious of him to accept that you would be working in that range after I picked those candidates...

First off, much gratitude to Wayne, Chalsall and all of the GPU72 volunteers for helping with the final TF push. That effort shaved 2-4...

Prior P-1 will also reduce this percentage. Some factors will be both P-1 and P+1 smooth; by doing P-1 with large bounds, some small subset of the potential P+1 factors will also be found.

precision, precision, precision.

What about these ranges (https://www.mersenne.org/report_factoring_effort/?exp_lo=8850000&exp_hi=8859999)? No factors and not TF'd to 71 bits.

Great! I will take 8.6M then. When my P-1 machines become available, I will most likely target bounds near that 8% probability with 8GhzD effort setting.

Thanks - that would be great! GPU72 is managing the 14.07-14.09M ranges. If you could work the 14.00-14.04M ranges, it would speed things up quite a bit. I'll finish 14.05M.
