Reserving 2145k candidates 2336-2441. I plan to test those to 1M, or at least to 100K. They are already done to 20K.

10544249 is done to 616K, no new primes.

Normally, I don't like to get personal, but... My Life Is A Disaster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is nothing good left for me anymore. I am wondering if I should even continue to live.

15k candidates are there (pink), but mostly reserved by RPS!
which candidates you meant?

why are you sad? no primes found?

Happy5214 2009-02-19 22:32

No, personal problems. I have found many primes.

2145k candidates with indices 2336 to 2441. 10019295, etc.

understand you right?

k=10019295 to k=10469745 (106 high weight k's) upto n=1.0M?

only to n=100k it's months of work!

Happy5214 2009-02-20 23:23

Yes, that is correct. I have big dreams. I am currently at 23500.

How many cores are you running on this and what is their speed?

Even on new machines, your reservation is likely 20+ CPU years of work. I'm fairly certain that my 10 quads would take at least 6 months to complete it, i.e. 20 CPU years.

BTW, I've read not to ignore people when they threaten their own life or make such statements as you did. Seriously, are you OK? I'm sure we could get you a # to a counseling hot line that could help you if you would like some help.
RPS have already started working on 2925 so mark it down to them.
I will fill in between 2925 and 2955 that RPS are doing.

So in addition to the k's i have already reserved please add the following
2939, 2941, 2943, 2945, 2947, 2949, 2951, 2953.
Ah, filling in the holes left behind. That's music to my ears!

Oh, cool! You're taking k=102765. That's one that I took up to n=400K as one of my first effort's in prime searching. It's also the one that I found my first top-5000 prime on: 102765*2^333354-1; barely above the 100's of n=333333 primes that were at the bottom of top-5000 at the time. There were so many of them that it came in at 3797th place.

I also took k=16995 and 26565 up to n=400K at the same time.

That is some serious work! Good luck!
