Reserving 2145k candidates 2336-2441. I plan to test those to 1M, or at least to 100K. They are already done to 20K.
10544249 is done to 616K, no new primes. Normally, I don't like to get personal, but... My Life Is A Disaster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is nothing good left for me anymore. I am wondering if I should even continue to live.:cry::sad: -Sad5214 |

-Alexander
How many cores are you running on this and what is their speed? Even on new machines, your reservation is likely 20+ CPU years of work. I'm fairly certain that my 10 quads would take at least 6 months to complete it, i.e. 20 CPU years. BTW, I've read not to ignore people when they threaten their own life or make such statements as you did. Seriously, are you OK? I'm sure we could get you a # to a counseling hot line that could help you if you would like some help. |
RPS have already started working on 2925 so mark it down to them.
I will fill in between 2925 and 2955 that RPS are doing. So in addition to the k's i have already reserved please add the following 2939, 2941, 2943, 2945, 2947, 2949, 2951, 2953.
Ah, filling in the holes left behind. That's music to my ears! |

You're taking k=102765. That's one that I took up to n=400K as one of my first effort's in prime searching. It's also the one that I found my first top-5000 prime on: 102765*2^333354-1; barely above the 100's of n=333333 primes that were at the bottom of top-5000 at the time. There were so many of them that it came in at 3797th place. I also took k=16995 and 26565 up to n=400K at the same time. That is some serious work! Good luck! Gary |
2043 is now at 300k with no more primes unreserving
the 17 ks i am taking up to 100k are up to 73.5k with these new primes:
323169 52411 237123 56522 237915 57538 420147 57981 640293 58364 323169 60465 422427 60612 237915 60640 594387 61210 420147 64064 420147 64446 420147 65040 422427 65601 835955 69868 230753 69922 581159 71292 422427 73308
i am now going to start taking 56627 and 73065 up to 360k also i am going to fill in the gap on 2041 and take that to at least 500k |
