The duplicate work was 6002T-6061T for n=480K-485K. We'll split the credit for that range. For reference, it contains 8411 factors and is available here:


I'm moving on to LLR work now.

Gribozavr has finished his 6100T-6200T range. All ranges below 6200T are now complete, and the new merged sieve file is here:

There is a ~20% speed increase from sieving the entire 480K-500K file at once instead of in 4 parts. The new optimal sieve depth is 7500T. At that level, sieving for 24 hours yielded 2178 factors (40 sec/factor), while an LLR test took 48 seconds per candidate. The optimal factor removal rate is slightly faster than the LLR test rate to account for duplicate factors, factors for pairs that were already tested, and the fact that some computers are better at LLR than at sieving.

You will need at least 4GB of RAM to sieve the 63,070,856 candidate file. However, the recommended minimum is 6GB since your operating system and other programs will need some memory too.
