RSA contests are no longer active :(
 

Last month, RSA Labs announced that the RSA Factoring Challenge and the RC5 Secret-Key Challenge will [url=http://n0cgi.distributed.net/cgi/planarc.cgi?user=bovine&plan=2007-05-21.04:34]no longer be active[/url]. The RSA numbers and RC5 blocks are still available; RSA will simply stop giving prizes for solving them.

Of course, people can still try cracking them as a challenge, but I'm not too sure that the computing costs would be worth it.

On the brighter side, more people might focus their computing power on finding new Mersenne primes!
