How to create a log file?
 

Is there any way to create a log file for the output/errors/etc during stress testing on Windows?

I tried to redirect the terminal output via [c]y-cruncher.exe config myconfig.cfg > logfile.txt 2>&1[/c], but the log file stays empty.

So, according to this answer, there seems to be no way to generate a log file for the stress test. :(

Unfortunately no, the program doesn't log the stress tests. I never thought it was necessary because the only interesting output would be when it fails. And when it fails, it stops.
As for why redirection isn't working. I honestly have no idea. It's not something that I use for this program.
y-cruncher has uh... never been great for logging. :([/quote]
