Multi-Factorial Search
Ken Davis has run a multi-factorial search for a few years, but I haven't had any e-mails from him in a while, so I don't know if he is still actively running the search.
I am working on an OpenCL program to sieve multi-factorials. All it needs is more testing before I can release it. |
If only I remembered seeing this thread last fall...
Could have been fun to test it. But I forgot to ask, and Multisieve'd... (and so did Fukui, apparently)
It still could be fun, for everyone! (It's been a bit silent in this thread.) _______________________________________________ EDIT: and after a day or two, these were deleted; so apparently it isn't so much fun doing something completely different, after all. These were: 76190![SUB]2[/SUB] - 1 (Fukui + Multisieve), 100654![SUB]2[/SUB] - 1 and 123998![SUB]2[/SUB] + 1 (Batalov + Multisieve). |
