Over in La Palma we have sort-of adopted two cats from the neighbouring farm.

We call them "Cake" and "Torte".

Why is left as an exercise for the reader.

When I was younger our cat decided to fly from the 5th floor, my parents mistake on having it on the flat. Now they have a couple from my sister but built a cage around the balcony. These cats came from Africa and not used to the Portuguese winter. Will try to find some pictures for you guys.
Today, our cat has shuffled off his mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the choir invisible.
He'd had a good life, he was nearly 15, and was struggling with cancer for the last year.
Rest in piece, Кот ('The Cat').
I am sure he brought you comfort while he was there.

"He'd had a good life." You can take comfort in having been able to give him that. One last bit of comfort, perhaps, from the hereafter.

My dog, Anabel has 'wisdom whiskers' around her mouth. Hopefully, she will be around for many years to come.

Regards,
Matt
