@Edwin : Just to make sure I understand, this pictogram does refer to elves, doesn't it ? :anonymous:
@Edwin : Just to make sure I understand, this pictogram does refer to elves, doesn't it ? :anonymous:
That is the board's icon for Anonymous. If you hover over it, does it not display its title?

The reason for the note about main project reservations was to remark that it was not anonymous and not me. As to tracking, I would not suggest trying to add anyone who does not join the project. I suppose any open ended merges, which are the only ones tracked, should be checked for reservation by the person working the sequence and should not be addressed by yourself.

Thanks for all the work you do in maintaining the tables.
I've been working on 385^4 via a merge with 903872, so please reserve this one for me.
Please do whatever you think best. I have participated a small amount in this project over time, and I did not want to waste anyone else's effort on this particular number. I did reserve 903872 on the blue page for that reason.

If its title is displayed, but I hadn't noticed it !

Regarding your remarks on the reservations of merging sequences, I think you are right : we have to be careful and do what is necessary to avoid that several people make the same calculations for the same sequence.
Please, in the "Definitions" table on this page (http://www.aliquotes.com/aliquotes_puissances_entieres/aliquotes_puissances_entieres.html), is it a good idea to replace this line :
Yellow background of sequence: this sequence merges with given one as tooltip
with this one with the part in bold on a orange background ?
Yellow background of sequence: this sequence merges with given one as tooltip, Check the blue page of the main project to see if this sequence is Free for reservation.
Please, is the bold wording in the English language correct ?

OK, I will make this change in the next update.
Thanks to you for your advice.

WOW !
OK, a lot of thanks !
This result will appear on the page at the next update.

I take new base 88.

garambois 2022-01-15 11:57

I wanted to examine the first terms of the base 800 = 2 * 20^2.
And I had a pleasant surprise : all the calculations were done for base 800 up to exponent 58 !
And unless I am mistaken, it is impossible that the calculations of the lower bases have completed the base 800, as for example the calculations of the base 2 can complete the bases 4, 8, 16, 32...
So I will add the base 800 to the project page, but I don't know who did the calculations.
If the person who made these calculations wants to come forward here for attribution, I can add his name for the base 800 sequences in the next update.
