For fun, I plan to add 1152 and 1250 bases to the listings, even though they aren't yet added to the project pages. This should supply some really trivial sequences and we may even get the bases fully initialized somewhat quickly so they can be added.

I have chosen these two bases because they are unreserved and are the next two doubled square bases. This means that all the sequences for the tables should terminate, unless we find another rare open-ended one.

I will hold all the terminations listed in this thread until such time as the tables can be added to the project. I'm hoping this won't be too labor intensive and will provide some easy sequences again, as well as helping out the project.

Depending on the success/failure of this trial, I may add in the next sets of double square bases later on.
Edwin, excellent initiative !
The double of squares provide 100% of sequences that end.
I also hope to find new sequences that end in cycles that are rather rare !
Don't forget to let me know to which exponent you are doing the calculations.
I think you are going to exponent 50, is that right ?

EdH 2022-05-07 11:48

Yes, I'll match the surrounding bases at exponent 50. I'll list all the primes here and keep them until you add the tables. I might nudge the elves into working some of the really small ones, or do them myself with a GPU ECM setup, but I'll try to keep track of where I'm headed. I'll try to add the new sequences later today.

As for me, I'll try to make an update tomorrow.
But maybe I won't have the time, my program is not defined yet for tomorrow.
Let me know when I have to add bases that are double of squares on the page.

I expect these to meet the initialized level rather quickly, but we'll have to see.

If it makes it easier for you, I can add these two bases tomorrow.
I am waiting for your confirmation to do so.

Thanks, Jean-Luc!

1250^26 and 1250^27 both terminated by me.

89^69 terminates
89^69 terminates
birtwistlecaleb has had this reserved since May 3 and it has been showing as such in post #1 since then.

My apologies to Caleb and the effort here. I was looking for some low hanging fruit and completely missed the reservation. Clearly you should credit him.

Meanwhile I worked on some small ones from your size list:

Terminations:
1152^38
1250^35
1250^37

Small advancement:
139^57 120/115
1152^39 117/103
1152^40 122/103
1250^33 101/99
1250^36 112/100
1250^39 121/99
1250^40 124/112

All cofactors fully ECM'd.

Those were not previously reserved. :-)

No plans to take any of them further.

Edit: It looks like someone else terminated 139^61.

There are lots of terminations being made. Let us know of any you should get credit for. I've posted the three above. I'll let my scripts catch 139^61 tomorrow as a "check" for them.
