Releasing 20076, 259704, and 643760. The first two were pretty good rides for a while:

7000@1e5? Is there a reason why you don't do (only) ~500@1e5, then ~1000@1e6 and then continue with 3e6 and 11e6 (or 1e7)? |

I think it's actually 1000@1e5 then 2000@3e5; my driver program counts equivalent-curves-at-1e4. I normally let the driver program finish, then run curves at 3e7 for a while, then GNFS. |

I updated the status of all reserved sequences. One issue to note: the first post is going to bump up against the 10k character limit very soon. Can everyone check their reservations and make sure that you want to keep all the sequences you currently have reserved?
We can save a few characters if we shrink the "who" column by a little....I'll do that next time I post a status update. |

The old rule was to omit any factors above 13 unless they are part of the driver or guide. That would probably be a good idea in this situation. |

That would probably be a good idea in this situation.
Yeah, well, I do the updates mostly by hand (I have figured out an easier way to update the columns), so until there's an entirely automated way to post updates, we'll have to follow Donald Rumsfeld's dictum: we get the updates that we have, not the updates that we might wish for. |

I meant to put 304854 down as reserved by smh. Either I goofed, or someone is playing an April Fools joke on me (I can't see the edit history to check), but I am not, nor have ever, worked on this sequence. I've removed it from the reservations list. |

I would like to release these sequences: I uploaded my results during the last months. So the status of the DB is up to date.
105000, 108762, 110928, 111426, 111432, 112638, 131292, 132048, 132210, 794880, 859974 All of them are more beyond size 110; 6 sequences have size between 120 and 145. 794880 was broken in the DB, so I had to wait long time before uploading. I hope that you got quite a bit below the 10k limit without omitting any information. I am sorry that I was not online for quite a long time. That time I was quite busy, but I let the sequences run in the background. The computer is normally also running during the night. To prevent too much noise I bought some years ago an “Arctic silentium T2” which has more but slower spinning fans. The fans are quite small so it is still easy to hear them. Even if these 4 fans (2 case and 2 power supply) have a mean time between failure of 163000 hours (18.5 years) the bearing of 3 of them broke in the first 3 years. Due to that, they often run into resonance and make an awful noise besides a reduced airflow. I seemed quite difficult to replace these fans so I let them run as long the processor is not overheating. Some time later when I returned from holiday, I noticed that my computer was a bit too “silentium” for my taste. That time it was not possible to start it anymore. I guess that some fans completely failed and the power supply was destroyed because of overheating. Finally I found the time to move the whole computer to a new case and collect the results of all sequences from all the placed where they ran. During the last year, the biggest part of my work was bringing sequence 859974 as far as possible. Now it is at index 6363 with size 145 and a c141. |
