I've extended the first Leyland number page by Dylan (thanks) with still missing some information.
External links and current data available (~700 from ~1460 numbers so far).

@pxp
Could you please make the axis naming a little bit bigger, it's hard to see in that resolution.

Currently "Williams MP 4" has available OEIS sequence: A326655

Also, in the page Williams prime, the "Available Online Sequences" section only lists 2<=b<=10, however, currently Williams MM has available OEIS sequences for all 2<=b<=14, and Williams MP has available OEIS sequences for all 3<=b<=12

The table in Carol/Kynea 24 is not sorted, 55716 should be in back of 46309.

Also, there is no possible Williams PP prime for b == 1 mod 3, but not shown in the OEIS sequence table in the Williams prime page (it was shown before).

Besides, you have found A087139(54) = 102978+1 = 102979 (see Williams MP 251), you can update it to this OEIS sequence (currently A087139 can be extended to n=91).

Finally, the link https://www.rieselprime.de/Others/CarolKynea.htm is no longer available, but it is currently in the "external links" for the page Carol/Kynea prime. (by the way, do the pages "Carol least" and "Kynea least" come on?)

Just creating templates for linking/displaying different numbers in the comments of prime lists.

First: Template 'NWo' for (Near / General / Near General) Woodall numbers depending on given parameters.

Example at Riesel prime k=257 shows the easier entry instead using template "Kbn" here.

Those numbers will be collected on their own page, more to come later.

The same will be done for Cullen (NCu), Riesel (NRi), Proth (NPr), Fermat (NFe) with their general/special forms.

So for Fermat there're forms:
original Fermat: 2^2^n+1
General Fermat: b^2^n+1
Ext.General Fermat: a^2^n + b^2^n including the forms with b=1 (like 4*5^n+1, n even)

To solve: the a-value of a xGF can contain very long numbers/expressions to store Fermat/GF/xGF factors into own pages (title length limited).

To come:
Template for Fermat numbers with their data (like Mersenne primes) with discoverers of factors, factors, Top5000 ID, FactoDB link, PrimeGrid ID, status, #digits including generated categorizing etc.

How about the Williams primes (b+-1)*b^n+-1?

Besides, what is the pages of near Cullen/Woodall primes (n+-1)*b^n+-1? like the Williams primes.

sweety439 2019-08-17 02:06

Also, you seems to forget to search "Carol/Kynea 702" to n=10K (see https://www.rieselprime.de/ziki/Category:Carol-Kynea_without_Carol)

kar_bon: You can test values by your own, too.

I've created a template to display a list of k values that yield a Riesel prime for a fixed n value. This is to make cleaner the data that is displayed on the constant-n search page of the old rieselprime.de site.
The template takes the following data:
Rcn= the value of n
RcMaxk= max k tested
RcDate= date/last edit
RcReserved= optional, person who presently has reserved that n value
RcKlist= list of all k's that yield a prime
RcRemarks= any comments regarding that n
and then generates a table much like the Riesel Prime template.

kar_bon 2019-08-19 14:00

I've rearranged the Woodall primes:
created different categories to store (Near/Generalized/Near-Generalized) Woodall primes with one template for any page of those types like "Williams prime P/M <base>":

- Woodall primes n*2^n-1 -> "Gen. Woodall prime 2"
- Gen. Woodall primes n*b^n-1 -> "Gen. Woodall prime <base>"
- Near Gen. Woodall primes (n+1)*b^n-1 -> "Gen. Woodall prime P <base>"
- Near Gen. Woodall primes (n-1)*b^n-1 -> "Gen. Woodall prime M <base>"

Some changes to the "ground" pages/categories still needed.
Template "NWo" also adjusted.

The same has to be done for Cullen primes.

sweety439 2019-08-22 08:16

The title of Gen. Woodall P 2 table is not right, it is "Near Woodall primes of the form (n±1)•2n-1", but it should be "Near Woodall primes of the form (n+1)•2n-1".
See post https://mersenneforum.org/showpost.php?p=526400&postcount=760, 4*789^149139+1 is prime, you can update it to https://www.rieselprime.de/ziki/Proth_prime_small_bases_least_n
Why don't you update this stuff yourself? Karsten can give you an account (here), and you can have at the wiki without posting everything here.

I’ve updated the page with that find, and the csv file.
To happy5214, there is a chance that karbon won’t give sweety an account on Prime Wiki. See this post by karbon himself for reasoning.
