gribozavr, could you download and verify the factors from posts above?
When you're done, upload a small k file so that Max can load in some candidates into the PRPnet server. There were a lot of k/n pairs removed since October 1st (which was when the small k file was last updated), so a new file would be really helpful. |

I can do around 20T/day this range never got reserved, trust me i don't have any supercomputer.
I see. I have 8 cores: 6 from a Phenom II desktop, and 2 from a core i5 laptop. The 20T/day figure for me is an ideal rate. Playing computer games reduces sieve speed by quite a lot, and the laptop has to be turned off in summer to prevent overheating.
It would be nice to do 150T in 2 hours.
It sure would. At that rate, we'll reach the optimal sieve depth (6P) in two days. |

Yep, but @ least it will use less RAM. Right now it uses for me approx 1097664K or 1.067GB of Ram per instance. I have machines which only has 1GB if it goes below that i can run it on them. maybe. |

Try splitting the file into two parts: one for n=480000-482500 and one for n=482500-485000. You'll have to run the same range twice (one time for n=480000-482500 and one time for n=482500-485000). The good news is that n=480000-482500 takes faster to test than n=480000-485000, so splitting the range won't slow you down much. The other option would be to let those machines run LLR instead of tpsieve. |
